USAGE
Iris dampers are used for air flow rate adjustment and measurement in round air ducts. A uniform air flow rate occurs in the duct cross section due to its decreasing orifice structure. Closure of the iris damper creates a uniform air flow rate adjustment with a homogenous air flow. There are manometer connections in order to measure the differential pressure in dampers. The measurement accurancy of the damper is ±%5 and the operating temperature is between -10°C and +80°C. Also, the connections should be sealed to prevent air leakage.
- Assembly
- Installation to duct with rivet or self tapping screw.
- Installation to flexible air ducts by using tape or clips.
