MATERIAL
Product casing is manufactured from galvanized sheet with between 0,8 mm to 1,5 mm thickness according to its size and splitters are also manufactured from galvanized sheet with between 0,7 mm to 1 mm thickness according to its size. After then prepared flanges and flange corner pieces are installed to the product.
USAGE
Sound attenuators are used for absorbing the sound that occurs at air conditioning and ventilation systems. Splitter thickness that are used in attenuators are 100 mm and 200 mm and the filling materials are 2 pieces of rockwool with 50 mm thickness, 50 kg/m³ density and one side of it is covered with fiberglass. Rockwool that is used in product is noncombustible in accordance with DIN 4102 Class A and it is also decay and moisture resistant. The side of the rockwool that is exposed to air flow is covered with fiberglas to prevent particulates to fly away in high velocities up to 20 m/s. Additionally, attenuators are manufactured with 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm and 35 mm flanges that are sealed with mastic. At 20 mm and 25 mm flanges M.8; at 30mm and 35 mm flanges M.10 bolts and nuts are used for installation.
ASSEMBLY
Installation to rectangular air duct from the flanges at inlet and outlet mouths using bolts and nuts.
